Shiatsu Basics (HSC-SHI)

Shiatsu BasicsShiatsu is a Japanese healing art commonly known as acupuncture without needles. Finger pressure is used on points of the body's meridian system to normalize the flow of life force.

This 30-hour course covers:

  • Shiatsu therapy principles/yin and yang in relation to emotional and mental states
  • The study and practice of recognition principles, empathetic connection and diagnosis / treatment of the meridian system, including the 12 main meridians
  • Mind and body connection
  • Basic full body shiatsu treatment
  • Meridian yoga, Ki movement exercises, and Aiki practice
  • Self-treatment

Instructor: Alex Pereklita, Tao Shiatsu Instructor

Pre-requisites: Course #1 and Course #5 from the Total Self Program are recommended

Fee:  $395 if taken as part of Program, $475 + HST if taken as a single course



F/T Mon. May 14, 2018 (9:30 am-12:30 pm), 10 classes or

P/T Wed. May 16, 2018 (7 pm -10 pm), 10 weeks  



Full-time: Mon. May 13, 2019 (9:30 am-12:30 pm), 10 classes or

Part-time: Tues. May 14, 2019 (7 pm -10 pm), 10 weeks
