2017/2018 Calendar Advertising Guidelines, Terms and Conditions

Ad Specifications:

All ads are to be supplied electronically, and are treated as though they are camera-ready art. Please also mail, drop off or fax us a hard copy of the ad at time of submission - we use this as a proof to ensure we received the correct ad and format. We do not proofread ads for spelling, grammar or punctuation. Ads submitted without a hard copy are done so at advertiser's risk. The electronic ad you submit will not be retouched, enhanced or modified. Any necessary adjustments for printing specifications will result in an additional surcharge depending on the amount of work involved. Electronic files under 4 mb in total may be supplied via e-mail; submissions over 4 mb in total are requested on CD.

Acceptable Formats:

  • Production file: PDF format (high resolution at 300 PPI and CMYK).
  • Fonts: PDF files must have all fonts embedded.
  • Images: High resolution at 300 PPI, CMYK. PDF files must have all images embedded.
  • Colour: Before sending your ad, please make sure that it is the correct colour. All ads should be submitted in the CMYK colour mode setting (not RGB, not Pantone).
  • Ensure your Ink Limits are below 300%

Ad Booking and Submission Deadline:
January 30, 2017

4-colour Ad Fees:
Full page, $700 HST = $791
Half page, $400 HST = $452
Quarter page, $250 HST = $282.50
Business card size, $150 HST = $169.50

Size:

All ads must be submitted in the correct size. Any necessary modifications will be charged back to the advertiser. Please do not not add crops marks, bleed or registration marks to your file.

  • Full page: 7.25" x 9.5" vertical
  • Half page: 7.25" x 4.625" horizontal or 3.5" x 9.5" vertical
  • Quarter page: 3.5" x 4.625" vertical
  • Business card: 3.5" x 2.25" horizontal

Payment Guidelines:

Full ad payment is necessary to reserve your space. Cash or credit card payment (Visa or MasterCard) is available for your convenience. Ad payment must be received by the ad booking deadline. We regret that we cannot issue a refund for advertisers who prematurely withdraw their advertising. Requests for a receipt may be made at time of ad booking.

Advertising Policy:

All ads are subject to Transformational Arts College of Spiritual and Holistic Training's discretion. The 'Friends and Graduates of the College' ad pages in the Calendar, are reserved for those practitioners/companies with offerings synergistic with Transformational Arts and the wellness community. Transformational Arts reserves the right to expand/contract the number of pages allotted to advertising.

Liability Waiver:

Transformational Arts will not be held responsible for any errors in camera-ready artwork. Ads should be proof-read by advertisers prior to submitting them to our office. In the case of an omission of advertising material by Transformational Arts, the advertiser will be compensated for an amount equivalent to the actual dollar value of the ad containing the error.

If you are advertising services offered as a result of Transformational Arts studies: Please indicate course name and any diploma, certification or designation received.
